| Our vision is to provide our clients with all of the necessary tools to enable them to accumulate and preserve wealth personally and in their business. We do this by personally working with the business owner and all of the members of their team striving to set realistic goals and visions for the business or individual. To meet or exceed these goals we all need to have dedicated and talented individuals as team members. Our strength lies in our ability to use our technical knowledge and first hand business experience to look at your business from the outside and then from the inside noting your strengths and weakness and then propose alternatives and solutions. Richard P. Kistner, CPA |
|
Dick graduated from Gannon University in 1971 and immediately began his public accounting career with KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co.). After two years Dick became a senior accountant with A. H. Gardes & Co., a large local CPA firm in Houston. On July 27, 1973 Dick received certificate number 12299 from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. In 1978 Dick became a partner in A. H. Gardes & Co. assuming responsibility for the firm’s tax practice. Dick was also the audit partner for several of the firm’s audit clients. On August 31, 1983 Dick left A. H. Gardes & Co.
On September 1, 1983 the firm of Richard P. Kistner CPA was founded with one client. During the next 21 years the firm has grown until today we serve over 150 clients. On April 1, 2004 the Austin office was opened. We believe that the business community in both Houston and Austin are dynamic and business’ and individuals deserve and demand that their CPA firm and their CPA be highly ethical, honest and technically competent in business, accounting and tax matters. We believe we are that firm.

Andrew J. Gentile |

Andy graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo in 2003 and immediately moved to Austin, TX. Andy spent four years in the United Sates Navy prior to going to the university and is mature beyond his years. His career in public accounting started after graduation. He is currently attending Texas State University pursuing his MBA. After receiving his MBA he will sit for the CPA exam.
